KIND was the first brand to launch a Thin product in the Energy & Nutrition Bars category. Traditionally, KIND supports product launches with robust event and retail sampling efforts, however, in 2021 those sampling channels were not available due to COVID 19.
Øuterkind helped KIND reinvent their approach to sampling with an at-home sampling program designed to drive awareness and trial of new KIND Thins.
Through targeted influencer and media partnerships, Øuterkind enabled interested consumers to opt-in for an at-home sampling opportunity, receive KIND Thins at their home and participate in a virtual KIND Thins event. All communications drove to KIND’s Amazon store where the brand enjoyed a 42% increase in units sold during the promotional period.
